Customizable Dashboards for Prophet 21®
Web Connect provides a series of customizable dashboards for each set of users - Sales Reps, Customers and Administrators. These dashboards are designed to present Prophet 21® data to the user in ways that allow the user to quickly determine action items and make decisions.
Drag and Drop
System administrators can globally edit dashboards for both Customers and Sales Reps. Users can simply "drag" an item on the dashboard to a new location to change the position of an existing "control".
New controls can be added from the "Control Catalog" as well. The current list of controls that can be added to a Sales Reps dashboard include:
- Article Listing and Latest Articles from the Web Connect News system
- A Remote Order Summary that displays information about both sales rep and customer orders placed through Web Connect.
- An Aged Receivables Chart
- Monthly Invoice Chart
- Monthly Receipts Chart
- A listing of the five newest customers for a sales rep
- A listing of the five customers with the highest credit balances for a sales rep
- The last five invoices for a sales rep
- An "Open Invoice" summary
- The Opportunity Summary showing the total value of Opportunities from P21 for a rep
- An Open Task Listing showing all tasks assigned to or by the sales rep
- The Last five Orders
- The Last five Quotes
- The Last five RMA
- An "Open Orders" listing
- An "Open Quotes" listing
- The "Order Summary" showing total current month orders, prior month orders and open orders
- A "Poll Box"
- A generic RSS reader that can be used to read news sources from most RSS sources
Customizing Dashboard Controls
Most of the controls that can be added to a user dashboard can be customized for specific needs. For instance, the administrator or user can add a new aged receivable listing to the desktop and assign a Customer ID to it. This will then display aging for a specific customer.
Other common customizations include changing the title of the control and changing the chart type (bar, line, column) for the various charting controls.
