Ascend Connect Version 2.2 Released

There have been several additions and enhancements to the Ascend Connect software since the 1.x releases.

User Management

Part of the benefit of having a full featured content management system from GDC is the ability to build an active set of web site users over time.

When users register with your website, they are added to a user listing that you can use to send offers, provide updated information and more.

In addition to this, you can track who is currently using your website, how many users are on line, when the last time a user has come to your website and the status of the user.

Users can also be placed into "Roles" that allow them to gain access to specific portions of your website or even contribute and edit content.

When a user registers with your website you can also ask them for key information that will help you to better determine their needs.  This part of the user registration process is known as the "User Profile".
